To the lucky ED acceptees....

Don't forget to send out letters to withdraw this weekend from all the others schools to which you've applied. This will keep your high school highly regarded by the colleges and could also influence how many kids a college might take from your school.

And don't forget the states...UCs, etc.

Congratulations to all of you - and Happy Holidays! :)

bump...not because it needs an answer, but this is important not only for the reasons you listed, but for the many thousands of other kids who want to go to your other schools

Don't withdraw just so you make room for others...

^ If you are admitted ED, you have to withdraw your apps. EA is another story.

ramsfan is correct. When you signed your ED agreement, you said you would withdraw all other apps if you were accepted.

"This will keep your high school highly regarded by the colleges and could also influence how many kids a college might take from your school."
Another fine example of CC posters pulling it out of theire arse to for the very purpose of self interest (in this case making sure the poster can get accepted)

Yes, congratulations. It's so awesome, I'm living vicariously through you ED acceptees. :)

Is it still required if i haven't submitted my application, but sent letters of rec and transcripts?
