I have been accepted to SDSU for business marketing, and UCSD for International Business. I am leaning towards UCSD because of the prestigiousness.
How are your classes and experiences? I am a bit afraid of learning a new language and taking some of these calc classes. Any anecdotal experiences would be great. I want to make sure I am attending this school for the right reason. Thanks!
It sounds like you were admitted to Revelle at UCSD (from the calculus/language comment). Revelle is hard as all hell but definitely a great experience with a really fun community and beautiful campus. The foreign language classes are actually really easy and probably tangentially useful for your major, but the calculus and HUM sequences are realistically gonna wreck you. That said I think it’ll be worth it to attend the UC, sort of as an investment in your future. Less so than the prestige, the outcomes for graduates show that UCSD grads are better poised to get higher-paying jobs on average.
