<p>Self explanitory... I go home every weekend, I live in Ossining, Westchester. Just wondering if I'm the only one who spends three and a half hours (each way) every week.</p>
<p>Part of the reason is SB's infamousness (if that is a word) for being deserted on weekends, but most of it is that I just like home better, I'd probably do it at any college that's reasonably close.</p>
<p>It takes you 3.5 hours to get home to Westchester from Stony Brook? It took me two hours to get to Dutchess, which is two counties above you.</p>
<p>Well, I take the train, and then have to walk between Penn and GC. I can’t get a parking spot becuase of Stony Brook’s ridiculous rules about that. </p>
<p>I ocaisonally get a ride, and then it takes about 90 minutes to two hours.</p>
<p>That makes sense. I figured you were referring to driving taking 3.5 hours.</p>
<p>Hey Man. I am currently a sophomore and I go home usually 3 out of every 4 weeks. I live in rockland, so without a car it takes 3 hours but with it thats 1:45. I only have one more semester until I finally have my car on campus!! What year are you?</p>
