Today was my first time.....

I'm a junior and today was my first SAT. Sadly after browsing arounds some of the answers on here my hopes are dropping drasticlly. I was expecting somewhere between a 1800-2000, but now I'm not too sure...got tricked so damn easily. sigh.

any remedies for SAT depression? lol.....

Ah, don't be sad.

Today was my first time as well, and even with prep, I felt rather nervous during the test, and then upon coming to CC, my hopes plummeted.

Just remember that you tend to emphasize the ones you got wrong - and then you panic.

So don't feel too bad - I mean, unless you're going to cancel it, there's really nothing you can do about it...

Besides, you're not alone in feeling a bit down. I'm rather worried myself.

Feel better!

Yeah it was my first one also. lol leaving the test center I was pretty confident about my 2000 goal, but now that I'm on CC I'm getting worried =[

w/e I'll study hardcore for the one in March and hopefully I can get up to around 2300.

^ I'll probably take it in March too!! haha
Yay. Same date. I just think march is an odd date that no one takes the SATon, so I thought it was cool that you were.
My first time in was in November and my goal was 2000+ and do not worry! You'll have your confidence go down at first, but then you'll forget about it, but when you get your score if you know yourself to be a correct predictor, then your score probably will be where you predicted it to be. I ended upreaching my goal of 2100! But that's only 1340 out of 1600, so don't worry! Just leave some space in your predictions.

Same here guys! First time! Look on the bright side, at least we have more chances (although I'd rather not take them). I'm having nightmares about 12/20. We should all stay up that night and worry together. lol.
