<p>sciencefrenchie is right, they only asked for the sum of three angles. They were all in a single triangle with one cut off by a 55 degree angle. Therefore 3 angles + 55 = 180. Sum of 3 angles = 125 degrees</p>

<p>nope. it asked what was 9x^2 +3x which equaled 30.</p>
<p>I can’t remember if I put -2, I distinctly remember finding it in the answers. Then again, I distinctly remember calculating 9x^2 + 3x and getting 30, as well. Gah.</p>
<p>Your lucky then because -2 wasn’t an answer choice. 30 was the smallest possible answer.</p>
