does anybody know which one is easier? i am thinking of which one to take..

imo, paper-based is much easier than internet-based

Paper based is way easier but on the downside your scores come really late(6 weeks). If u have plenty of time then pbt is good otherwise go for ibt. Ibt is not that hard . Few practice on speaking will do u fine.

IBT's Critical Reading is easier than SAT I's CR. The Listening part is easy, but you have to stay focused for a long time and take a lot of notes, that can be exhausting. The Writing Part is fairly easy, and the Speaking part is easy too, of course that depends on how fluent you are, but practice a bit and you should be fine.

I have no idea about the paper-based test.

I have never seen a pbt but the ibt went fine for me. And, I did not read a single prep material before taking the test. I think a 650+ in CR would guarantee a 27+ in TOEFL Reading; listening is fairly easy if you faintly focus and take some notes; speaking may sound frustrating but just try to talk distinctly; writing is cake.

pbt is easier, ibt has the speaking section whicn seems a bit harder(I know a few of my friends got pretty high marks on pbt but fail on the speaking section of ibt.)
