Toefl Vs SAT

I am am Italian but i attended two years of school in an english speaking country (Us and Singapore)
I took my SAT and scored 590 in both critical reading and writing.

I am now required from most of the colleges i am applying to to take the toefl. Is it harder than the SAT? I heard of native speakers scoring really bad… Do i need to study specific things?

TOEFL is easier than the SAT.

My suggestion is to conquer SAT first(in the meanwhile develop your listening abilities through materials like Economist,SSS, TPO) ,and then Toefl, cause the CR section in SAT is much harder than Toefl reading, I think you can
score with at least 27 in Toefl reading), goodluck! (envious of your Italian ethnicity >:D< )
