If I've been to the U.S. for 6 years, and is a citizen of another country would scoring a 115 (out of 120) on the TOEFL help to explain my low criticle reading score on the SAT's for colleges? (760M 630CR 740W)

I don't know if it would EXPLAIN anything. But since the TOEFL is usually required/recommended, 115 is a good score.

i don't know.. i've never taken the toefl, but i would think that a high toefl score shows that ur ready for higher lvl english tests, like the SAT.. maybe that's just me and my poor understanding of the test itself.

Yet your writing score is a 740! Not only that, you've been in the US for 6 years. Some colleges only want you to take the TOEFL if your CR score is below a certain level, like 600 or 500, and 630 I don't think is exactly that low. But if you have TOEFL score, I guess you could go ahead and send that too.

Well you beat me on writing.

i thought it was out of a total of 300

The CBT TOEFL is out of 300. The new Internet Based Test is out of 120.
