i’m a senior in the midst of applying to colleges and i’d like advice. here are my stats -
gpa - 3.9 uw, 4.1 w
act - 32
sat - 1410
sat ii - 660 physics, 670 world history, 680 lit
rank - top 10% (i think like 30/500 or something close to that)
senior year courseload - ap comp, ap gov, ap french, ap stats, two courses at local cc (i’ve been dual-enrolled at the local cc since fall semester of junior year)
ec’s -
debate: 4 years, 2-year president, ranked in top 15 teams nationally, qualified to national championships, won several local tournaments, invited to many national invitationals and succeeded at them, hoping to continue in college
asb: 4-year member, class president
global feminists coalition: (club focused on improving women’s lives around the world), 2-years, founder

french teacher of 3 years - 9/10 - he is retired now but seems very enthusiastic about writing for me
ap comp teacher (also had 3 years) - 9/10 - she really likes me and i’ve had her for several years

georgetown sfs ea (had interview, went really well - talked for an hour and a half - i know my subject tests are low, but i feel very good about my sfs essay and the interview - we’ll see i guess)

i’ve been in touch with debate coaches at georgetown, umich, usc, berkeley, and emory, and while all have said that have minimal sway, that’s something to consider
am i too ambitious with the colleges i’ve chosen? do i have a chance at any of them other than the last three (my safeties)?
