Too late for AP?

Hey, Is it too late to self study for the 2014 English language and Composition test? I know I should've started earlier, but does anyone have any experience with this? Is it too late to start now?

I wouldn’t think so… as long as you study hard for it. I’ve taken 6 AP tests so far, and have passed all of them. With some, I didn’t even review before the test and I did well. So if you start now, you should be fine

My son will be self-studying the AP Calculus AB test, but he is taking Calculus now which is about half the pace. He plans to spend a lot of time over break working on review books.

Second poster brings up a good point. In some subjects, you might want to just look into the material and gauge how prepared you are for it. I would think that the AP English Language and Composition test would be one well-suited for self-studying.

My son is taking both AP Cal (AB+BC) this year and planning to take the test in May. He has Barron’s AP and Kaplan books. Any other practice tests or books he needs to refer?

Same, for AP Biology, please advise.

thanks
