Alright so here is how it goes. This will be a bit of a strange question. I am 22 years old and currently attend a private university to which I transferred from a community college. I am in my junior year and after this coming semester I will be on my senior year (yeah I took a couple of semesters off to work). Being this far in towards graduation I realize I made a mistake in my choice of college and would love to attend Cornell as an undergraduate. However this would mean that I would have to forfeit a lot of credits and take a step back. What I really want to know is if its worth dropping yet another year towards my undergrad degree to attend and graduate from a school I feel would allow for more opportunities and a richer campus life? I would be 24 - 25 by the time I would be finished at Cornell. Is this too old for an undergrad? I am planning on going to grad school and a point could be made that I could simply attend grad school and finish my bachelor's sooner. However I hear that graduate school is vastly different and I would miss out on the undergraduate study life I've always wanted. I would appreciate the advice of any students that have transferred to a top undergrad school at an unconventional time.

On another note, lets keep the stats and chances of getting in to Cornell aside. That's for another thread.
