Too late for selective scholarships?

I'm looking at IU as a safety school. Such being the case, I would like to be eligible for as much scholarship money as possible. I applied for the Wells Scholarship, but i just got back my rejection letter.. lol so I'm wondering if the other scholarships are still open?

I'm talking specifically about the Kelley scholars and Honors college programs.

I've got a 3.98/4.00, 2280 SAT, 33 ACT

Would you say i'm eligible for these other scholarships based on my stats? And why do you think i was turned down by Wells?

I would really appreciate some information, so if you know, please share. Thanks :)

It’s REALLY hard to get a Wells scholarship and they have lots of applicants of your caliber. About 18-22 people who apply receive the scholarship per year.

You should be eligible for the other scholarships though so it doesn’t hurt to apply.

automatic scholarships are closed, as are most, but not all of the selective scholarships (a lot of them close Nov 1st).

try for private scholarships.
