My D had a change of heart for PSU University Park and would like to apply undecided. I know they encourage students to apply by Nov. 30th…but it is rolling so didn’t know if they accept many after the Nov. recommendation.
She can try, but I would keep expectations low.
If she still wants to major in nursing, I’m not sure that you can switch into that from DUS. I think it’s freshman admit only at UP.
@bodangles I think it is freshman admit only. No this would be undecided leaning towards nutrition. Her top two schools deferred for nursing so she is having second thoughts. Thanks!
My daughter declined the offer of Smeal 2+2. She has a 3.95 weighted 30 ACT. She changed to DUS and her application is under review again.

She’s unlikely to get into nursing but for something in Human development (Biobehavioral health, nutrition) or in agriculture I think she has a shot as long as the 3.55 is unweighted. If weighted then not worth applying. Try Capital Ohio, Chatham in Pittsburgh…
@collegecrazies , I don’t know if IUP is still accepting nursing apps but they have a pretty respectable program. They are often overlooked because it is viewed as a party school, but their first time NCLEX pass rate is pretty high and students begin clinicals as early as sophomore year, a year earlier than PSU.
