Too low for Engineering at top schools?

I recently took the June subject tests in Chem and Math 2, and I received a 780 and 750, respectively. I'm more than happy with the Chem score, but my real worry is Math 2. I'm planning to go into Engineering, and I'm applying to all the top schools (MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Harvard, etc.), so it seems like I'll be at a disadvantage since most everyone applying there sends in an 800. I've been told that after 750 the scores don't matter anymore, but some people have said retaking is a good idea if I want to do Engineering. Can someone please offer any insight on to this issue? I don't mean to sound like a grade grubber but I'm genuinely confused on what would be the best course of action. For reference to other parts of my application, I have a 3.98 UW GPA, 36 ACT, good enough ECs (I think so anyways), good teacher Recs, and pretty good essays. Basically all the other parts of my application match up to the average Ivy applicant. Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I feel like those colleges just take one glance at the scores and if they’re good, they move on to other parts of your app. As long as the rest of your app is ok, it really shouldn’t matter. However, you can retake it if you want- just don’t do worse.

Your subject test scores are fine, move on.
