Too many AP classes senior year?

Have no AP classes junior year, but mostly honors:
Honors Pre-Calc BC
Honors English 11
Honors Physics
College Spanish 103 through SUNY Albany
Self Study APUSH

This is what I plan to take senior year - I plan to go to NYU, BU, or Northeastern to study Computer & Electrical Engineering

AP Calc BC
Syracuse University Project Advance English
AP Chem
AP Physics C
AP Computer Science A
AP Euro Hist.

AP Calc BC, AP Chem, and AP Physics C are pretty tough - I know someone taking all three, except he’s enrolled in Calculus III at a community college (which is probably easier than Calc BC, truth be told) – it all depends on your interests and strengths.

However, it is important to realize that you had no AP courses your Junior year, so jumping into 5 APs senior year that need to be juggled with college applications and all the other super fun (mind numbingly stressful) things that go on senior year is going to be nothing short of a challenge. A lot of people who have been banging out APs since they were Freshman may find difficulty transitioning into an almost full schedule of APs – so you need to keep that in mind. Your schedule suggests that you’re a math/science person - but your success depends on your diligence and ability to keep trudging forward. AP European History is a lot of work but the content may not be as difficult as your other classes.

I mean, in summary, your schedule is pretty kickass. If you can pull it off, kudos to you – you’ll be pretty competitive in terms of admissions as well as well prepared for introductory engineering courses in college.

I’m in AP Chem, AP Physics C, and MV Calc (higher than AP Calc BC), and the workload isn’t bad at all. I’m a math/science person, and I’m assuming you are too, so you should be able to handle it. I’ve heard that AP Comp Sci isn’t bad either. My only concern is that AP Euro will be a lot of work. Compound that with college essays, and you’ll have a very stressful first semester.
