Too many colleges Help! Which ones should I delete?

Boston U will cost ~50k a year in total expenses. If you can afford that, then I'd spend the money at an LAC

Don't listen to them John, if you really like the school, apply and like you said, keep your options open. BU does give lots of financial aid which, though wont be cheaper then attending MSU or even an out of state public school, will still be significantly cheaper. I go to UM and through financial aid im only paying $17,000 tuition for the year as opposed to $32,000.

BU is a great school and you will get a much better education there than at MSU (given class size and prestige). If you can still not afford it after financial aid, then go to a State school and you will still get an excellent education, but dont just rule a school ur interested out just because of cost. Apply first, see what FAFSA has to say and then make a decision.

I went there, Canes, I think I'd know...

TUOwls - what didn't you like about BU? And from your name, it looks like you are going to Temple. If so, why did you choose Temple?

Everything. I transferred to Temple for second semester. I picked Temple because I'm from the area, and was very familiar with the school.

john.. i would say still apply to BU. if you think you might be able ot shell out the extra money if you get in and would want to, then apply! no matter how great a school is, some people will always be unhappy there. TUOwls probably just had a bad experience as i know many kids who go there who love it.

i would actually take out northeastern because its just as expensive as BU and much less regarded. and you could probably get rid of one more safety if you really needed to
