Too many credits from junior transfer?

Hello :)

I am planning to do the junior transfer for 2012 Fall after I finish my two years of military service in my home country. However, I've just figured out that I've taken too many credits in my current college... I happened to bring 34 credits from my high school (due to the IB courses) and I have taken 58 credits from the college, which makes the total of 92 credits. Although I went to the college for only two years, my credits are like as if I've already finished my junior year. Is there any kinda disadvantage for having too many credits? I don't really care if only 60 credits would be acknowledged when I transfer. However, I am afraid too many credits might affect my application.

My current college is UW-Madison.

Most colleges won’t even give you all your credits via transfer. And besides that, most only look at your time spent in college ( I.e. Number of semesters). So as you’ve only done 2 years, you should be fine.
Of course, be sure to contact your prospective schools indioruslly for more clarification as not all schools have the exact same policies.
