important question regarding credits and SOPHOMORE/JUNIOR transfer

<p>does it matter if you're transferring as a sophomore or junior based on YEAR, or how many credits one will have?</p>

<p>i have 18 and i'm taking 20 next sem. does having more credits look better than being a literal second year? or do they actually focus on the fact that you have at least 30 credits (freshman)? bc i'll have 38 by the end of the spring, which i know won't matter since i'm only sending the 18.</p>

<p>i'm trying to see if i can get accepted into spring 2012.</p>

<p>the number of credits you have will determine your standing for example,</p>

<p>0-31 = Freshman
32-63 = Sophomore
64-95 = Junior
96+ = Senior</p>

<p>it also depends on the college, for example someone with 60 transferable credits can have junior standing</p>
