Too many subject tests?

I really want to get into a BA/MD program for college, preferably one that lets me major in a non-science major, such as International Relations. So i gotta show im interested in both the humanities and science. I already took the bio subject test and got 750+. Im gonna take the chem and math II tests because some programs, like Northwesterns HPME, require these two. Chem + math II=probably june. Im also selfing APUSH this year, so I might as well take the subject test for that in June too, right? I would already have four under my belt. But october of senior year I wanna take the French subject test because
a. I like languages, and I wanna show that
b. french is cool!
c. my friend who goes to NYU took it and got a 660.
d. a language test can never hurt.
If i did all this, i would have five subject tests! I'm not saying it would be a lot to study for, since im already studying ush, math is a pretty good subject for me, and im taking chem in school. How would 5 subject tests look on the application (assuming they are all pretty good scores)?

thank you in advance!

It would look good, but not any better than if you just took two or three. Most colleges don’t need more than two. But some colleges use the language subject tests for placement. If you can study and afford them, I say take them, although I don’t think they will give you a significant advantage, they won’t hurt you, so why not?

Thank you for your advice. I guess I won’t waste ten more dollars, and skip the USH subject test. I think I would show them my strength in that area with the AP. But language placement is important for me, so ill keep that! thanks again!
