Too many units for CSU and a weird grade?

1) I am currently in a ccc and am working towards a physics transfer degree to go to a CSU. I been looking at the assist site etc, but between my CSU G.E. Units, all the math classes and the science classes my total units will be 91. All are transferable and listed as required classes for the Physics major at CSULB. The max is 70, so what happens to the rest? I don't want to repeat classes, but i need them to get my AA degree.

2) I took one class at a different ccc before going back to college. I passed the class, didn't check my grade right away and checked back a few years later. They sent my unofficial transcript which says IP for the grade. I called them up and the grade was never entered, the teacher doesn't work there any more and they said there's no way to know what i got. How will this effect my transferring to CSU? Do I need to tell them still?

3) My last question is about the new transfer degrees to get into CSU schools. It is supposed to guarantee you into the CSU system when you complete it. When I asked a councilor today, she said you are guaranteed into one CSU school, but they don't tell you which one. You have to apply to various one's and guess. This only makes me more confused, can anyone clarify how this works?
