Too many units for UC?

Hi,

I attended a UC my 1st year of college and dropped out because of a miserably low 1.5 GPA. I've now just completed my 2nd year of classes at a community college and will be taking classes here for one more year. My GPA at my community college is around 3.4 so there is certainly a big improvement over my freshman year, my biggest concern however is that I'll have too many units by Spring '13....87 semester units completed to be exact. 63 from my community college and 24 from a UC. Am I going to have any problems transferring after next school year? My major is biology and will be done with all of my pre-reqs except for the O-CHEM series as that will put me beyond 90 units. Thanks for your help!

You’re fine, the only credits that count towards the limit are the 24 from the 4 year university, and that’s not nearly close to the cap.

“If you have completed 80 semester (120 quarter) units or more of combined UC-transferable community college units and four-year college units, your admission is subject to approval by the dean of your UC Davis major.”

Clearly states combined four year college and community colleges courses…no worries i’ll figure it out and well let everyone know whats up, sorry i’ve been spamming the forum the past couple of days.
