Too naive thinking to be accepted/ apply?

Im a high school senior graduating in June 2017, planning on apply to UW (In-state)
My current Stats:

-GPA of 3.65 (Freshmen-Junior)
-SAT 1120/1600 (RW:560 M:560) (Going to Retake)
-EC: (Minimal) Was in a club during sophomore year, 50+ hour of Volunteering - Volunteered to guard a Concession stand at an University (Club activity)
-Taking 2 AP in my senior year

I guessed that im too naive hoping to be accepted with such mediocre stats after doing some research online, most of the people I saw online that reported their acceptance have very compelling EC and scores. Whats my overall chance of getting in and at which area I can improve to boost up my chance of acceptance? What do you guys think?

You have a good chance. Nice GPA (hopefully you were taking the four major classes - English, social studies, science, and math, as well as having a lot of honors and AP)

Pretty good SAT scores. Decent amount of extracurricular.

If you’re a minority or you’re the first of your family to go to college, that also gives you a good chance.

I would still apply if UW is one of the schools you want to get in. It looks like you have a pretty good chance.

Make sure to write a VERY good personal statement - make sure to work and work on it over and over, revise it, make sure it flows and that it demonstrates your character, what is it that makes you stand out the most.
