<p>This one was from 1995. I just did the English section. Got an 800 pretty easily. Although I didn't time myself. I think even with the timer I could have gotten an 800. I was actually just doing it to get an idea of what the critical reading sections might be like. Granted it's a very old test, but wow...I really wish the tests still used the old structure. I'm one of the few people who likes analogies. It made me think though, Collegeboard's motto should be: "Don't Complain, or we'll make it worse."</p>
<p>Has anyone else noticed the ease of some of these older tests ? I actually wonder how significantly critical reading has changed. It makes me think that an 800 back then must have been a lot easier than one today.</p>

<p>I never understood the criticism of analogies. Here's a relationship between two words, look at these other pairs of words and find the relationship which most closely resembles the initial two. As long as you can memorize some of the harder words and make connections between concepts it's fairly easy. Whereas, with critical reading passages possible dual meanings can be given for many of the questions.</p>
