Took first ACT practice test today... how much can I improve and how?

My SAT Superscore is 760CR 680M 690W... this has been achieved through months of practice tests (and I did significantly better in math on some of them).

I applied to William and Mary two days ago and, right after, I decided that I should take the ACT in December so I pulled up the free test and took it today.

My scores:
34 English
31 Math
35 Reading
26 Science
32 Composite

Many of the questions that I missed were in the few because I was running short on time. However, this score was much better than I had expected, and this test just seemed much easier than the SAT... Anyway, my question is, how much do you think I could improve by December and how should I go about doing this (what books do I need)? I feel like I mostly just need a review in math (trigonometry) and I need to familiarize myself with the science section. My goal is a composite of 34. Do you think this is possible?

I would practice science the most in your case. Science tends to be the one subject where I have the least amount of time since it is different than the subjects tested on the SAT. Just get more accustomed to the test and your time will speed up.

At that range, anything is possible. Science is probably the hardest to take cold. Take practice test after practice test and get a feel for what the ACT wants. Get used to going through the questions really fast and not reading the passages.
