Took IB History. Am I set for World History?

We don't follow an American-like AP World History curriculum, but instead an IGCSE/IB curriculum. I have covered the following topics over the past 4 years (2 years of IGCSE history, and 2 years of IB HL):

Russia from Alexander to Cold War
USA in the 1920s
WWI
Rise of Hitler
WWII
Middle East post-WWII
China post-1850
Japan post-1850

I have a Princeton Review book for SAT World History. How much studying do I have to do to get a 700 in the exam? I'm mainly concerned because we haven't covered any Ancient history, or any history of Africa, India, Australia or America(besides the 1920s).

How do you Americans manage to cover the ENTIRE WORLD from 3500 BC to current day in a 1-year AP World History curriculum? It really sounds crazy. You guys must either go into very little detail, or just be smarter than the rest of the world in general.
