Top 10 most beautiful campuses

Holy Cross is beautiful but Worcester is ugly.

Furman, Elon, Wake Forest, UVA

UC Berkeley.

A couple of people mentioned the Air Force Academy; the scenery around the Academy is breathtaking -- but the campus itself is about as uninspired as it gets.

West Point has all the other academies beat and IMHO its the prettiest campus anywhere.

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

how could you not like UCLA? one of the most gorgeous campuses i've ever been to for sure.

UI- sike! It's great if you like insanely flat places, and corn. So in other words, if you like the rest of the state of Illinois :D.

Really, the buildings are all quite nice and our quad is pretty schweet. It's just not exactly where I go for sightseeing.

The University of Virginia campus is quite stunning. I've lived in Charlottesville for the last five years and love the architecture.

I saw Washinton and Lee. It looks like they rinse those columns on the buildings in bleach they're so white! And the grass is so green! VMI next door could have leaves covering and WL would be spotless. Sorta funny. It's beautiful but I wouldn't go there. Full of sororities and frats.

UChicago... if you like the gothic look. Amazingly, I never get bored with my school's stunning architecture.

Fordham and Yale are gorgeous if you love Gothic architecture.

duke
wellesley
pepperdine

i can't believe someone in this thread called duke ugly in comparison to unc. yeah, parts of carolinas campus are really nice, but i saw plenty of dorms when exploring campus recently that look like low income housing projects. real beautiful.

omg duke is amazing! the duke gardens are gorgeous.

Meh, I think pepperdine looks like a high school. It's the surroundings that are nice.

i can't believe no one has mentioned Sweet Bria College in VA. It's small but it was ranked the number one most beautiful campus in the country by Princeton review...

I agree. Pepperdine itself is unimpressive but the location is amazing.

My top 10 most beautiful campuses
1. Stanford
2. Duke
3. UCLA
4. MIT
5. Princeton
6. UC Berkeley
7. UVA
8. Notre Dame
9. Harvard
10. Columbia

any thoughts?

Although MIT has some real impressive buildings, I think there are too many eyesores to put it on a top 10 list.

I'll only rate schools that I've seen
1. Duke
2. UVA
3. Dartmouth
4. Middlebury
5. Washington and Lee
6. Princeton
7. Yale
8. Sewanee
9. Davidson
10. Harvard

Whoever put UCSD as a beautiful campus must be crazy... unless ugly concrete bricks for buildings are your thing. And USC is in a crappy location. But Pepperdine is definitely really nice and so is UCSB.. but to rep my school UVa has the nicest campus.

Yay to UVA! :D
