The reason I don't find Princeton's campus beautiful is because there's a lot of construction going on everywhere and Nassau St. is always soooo overcrowded and congested. It also sucks driving on that road!

Pepperdine

Univ. of San Diego

Loyola Marymount

UC Santa Barbara

UCLA

wow...I've never seen a Cali university. Lots of people are saying their uni's are beautiful. Is it because of the weather? haha.

pepperdine
ucsd

both have views of the pacific, enough said.

I don't think UC campuses are very nice at all. I would describe UCSD as being mainly cinderblock and eucalyptus. Very grey and modern. I guess it's a matter of personal taste.

UCSD IS situated in a really nice area, but I prefer UCLA and USC's campus from personal experience, and from what I can tell through pictures, Stanford.

WashU is absolutely gorgeous. For me, there's no comparison.

Pepperdine is beautiful as well

University of Montana has a gorgeous campus (Even after living on it for nearly nine moths, I'm still frequently struck by just how pretty it is) as does the University of Washington, if you don't mind huge. Westminster (UT) has nice, if rather small, campus.

Notre Dame
Princeton
Colgate
Dartmouth
Williams
Amherst

UCSD is in a great location, but the campus itself is not very good looking. San Diego State’s campus is very nice. UCLA is stunning.

I’ll add a few more:
Indiana University
Pepperdine
University of Oregon
University of Arizona
USC
University of Maryland

Cornell
Stanford
UCSB
WashU
Pepperdine

Cogate university
Cornell university
Yale university

duke
amherst

UCSB, university of Washington

yale

trinity college
conn college
vassar
smith

How does one define 'beautiful campus'? If for the sake of comparison, we remove the geographical location/surrounding areas outside the campus, which often influences our opinion, which are the beautiful campuses?

To be honest, I find each campus has its own charm and beauty. These are reflected in the academic buildings, different special interest sites like museum, church, the green part of the campus/the garden and the trees, and many more things. I have found most of the campuses are beautiful. How does one, for ex., define the campuses of Princeton, Duke, WashU, Stanford, UVa, Cornell, Pepperdine, Indiana? These names are picked up from the previous posts, and I have visited them:)

I would appreciate unbiased replies.

Stanford. There's simply a large amount of greenery without making the damn place foresty (aka UCSC) and the weather's pretty nice.

All 3 San Diego schools have great campuses, although I personally think that USD's is much nicer than SDSU and UCSD. Pepperdine and Boston College are great ones as well.

Out of all the UC's Santa Cruz has the most beautiful CAMPUS. But rating the campus in accordance to the surrounding area it would be either UCSD or UCSB.
