I am not a fan of UCSD either. The surrounding was great but actual campus itself was way too grey/modern… so much concrete.

I think UCSB’s location and proximity to the beach is what makes it beautiful. The campus seemed to elicit a very high-school like vibe for me for some reason.

I recently visited the University of Arizona and was basically blown away…very beautiful campus, totally was not expecting that.

Indiana’s campus absolutely sold me though… seriously breathtaking, I would be lying if I said that didn’t influence me heavily when making my final college decisions. :D

Loyola Marymount and Stanford are absolutely drop-dead GORGEOUS.
I love the giant quad at Stanford, ah heck I just love the Stanford campus haha
LMU is amazing though, wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I’m surprised Vanderbilt hasn’t been mentioned more consistently. Everyone is just in awe of the campus when I bring them/show pictures. I personally get surprised by new little things almost every day; even in the middle of winter, it had such a statuesque beauty that the barrenness couldn’t detract from.

From what I’ve visited, I’d say Georgetown, Endicott, Elon, Holy Cross, and Wake Forest. But I’ve seen pictures of UCSD and Pepperdine and they both look gorgeous!

I went to Holy Cross and most everyone who sees the campus agrees that it is absolutely beautiful, matched by very, very few. Of the other colleges I’ve visited I’d have to say that the USMA at West Point is the best.

I second this all the way. Vanderbilt is stunning in all seasons. National arboretum much? It’s just gorgeous. The buildings are gorgeous. Everything is gorgeous, haha. I really was surprised it didn’t get mentioned more.
