WashU in StL is simply breathtaking!

i'm going to cornell this year and i have no idea the campus's ranked so high (never visited)
isn't it covered in snow most of the time? XD

Although mostly unknown, College of the Atlantic has a gorgeous campus, it's surrounded by Acadia National Park and has large sweeping views of Maine's rocky islands, its beatiful

I just went to UPenn for a track meet and was amazed. It is beautiful. However, I have to say that Princeton has the best looking campus.

Vassar is beautiful.

I gotta vote for Swarthmore. I mean it's IN an Arboretum.

Princeton . .

UCSB....Drop Dead Gorgeous! 30 second walk to the beach not to mention all the pretty sunsets that backdrop the campus!

northwestern! a park on the shore of lake michigan...

Cornell-breathtaking. remember: ithaca is gorges!

Its gotta be University of British Columbia :)

My vote goes to UCLA

Johns Hopkins

im gonna have to go with

Univ of Southern Cal.
Northwestern
Cornell

i dont get the excitement over cornell. but thats just me.

From what i've seen and visited:

Stanford
UCLA
UVA
Harvard
UConn
UBC

And I personally find my school's (BU) 'campus' to be quite gorgeous, despite what others might think.

Fordham College at Rose Hill (main campus of Fordham University) is simply stunning: all gothic, all cobblestoned pathways, lush green grass, HUGE trees, beautiful buildings, a gorgeous church, Vince Lombardi Center. And its in the Bronx, next to the New York Botanical Gardens, literally.

Furman is also a stunning campus. Huge white swans swim in the giant lake in the middle of campus. I didnt like all that purple signage...a bit too much purple for me, but the buildings are gorgeous southern stately Georgian style architecture. A veritable country club setting, and all gated.

Elon is just like Furman. Not a blade of grass out of place. Not one.

Saint Louis University also is gorgeous. More modern buildings but very tasteful and match the older brick buildings. Gardens galore. Over 14,000 tulips. All in bloom when we were there. A magnificent gothic cathedral on campus. Absolutely breathtaking. Its in mid-town St. Louis which is the arts district: clean, safe, and very pretty and full of life. They are building a new basketball arena on campus (seating 17,000) for new coach Rick Majerus. Amazing. I think they told us they spent 600 million the last 10 years or so on new buildings. And its impressive.

Of course, WashU is right on the Park in St. Louis and its almost a carbon copy of Princeton. It is indeed so breathtaking it will make you sit down and catch your breath. It just reeks academia....and wealth. I dont mean that in a pejorative sense either. I mean it as a compliment. Regal is the right word.

Georgetown is a beautiful campus. Parts of Johns Hopkins. The University of Georgia is very pretty, though Athens, Georgia is not particularly nice. Duke's campus is gorgeous and regal as well, but Durham is the pits. The utter pits.

UNC-Wilmington is a very pretty campus, right on the beach. So for beach lovers, its hard to beat with a nationally ranked marine biology program.

College of Charleston is very pretty and VERY historic in old town Charleston, South Carolina.

Emory didnt impress me, but a lot of people like it too.

University of Virginia is stunning and haunted...by ghosts....literally. Including Thomas Jefferson. Its one of my all time favorite campuses. Sends chills up my spine everytime I am at the Rotunda.

Architecturally, the University of Chicago is stunning. But its in Southside Chicago and because of nasty weather, often cloudy and rainy or snow and wind....its hard to appreciate. I need to be there in the spring on a nice day.

I once drove through the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and its also quite pretty and the Ozarks are absolutely one of the most underrated beauty spots of our nation....simply amazing. I am so glad I went there. Went canoeing down the White River....past Clinton's beseiged property at Whitewater....lol....with "binoculars, yet!" And yes, it was during the investigation! Don't ask.

Huskem: i think its easier to make a 'least attractive campus' list.

I fully agree. CarnegieMelon in Pittsburgh tops that list. LOL. Great school. Ugly campus.

To balance out whatever Princeton resident said they didn't like Princeton: I live here too, and I think the campus is stunning. Especially now, during the spring. My vote's for Princeton...although I loved Yale as well.

In my HIGHLY biased opinion, I say UVA by far has the most beautiful campus (grounds). But honestly, of all the other schools I have visited UVa by far the most beautiful. Ohio State was also pretty intriguing.
