Top 10, nice GPA... BUT!

Hello.

I am from Poland. I am currently a student of Polish University, 16th ranked in Poland. My currently cumulative GPA is about 3.2-3.3 - so low. BUT.

I want to apply this Autumn to US College, to Top 10-25. Harvard is just a dream. My results in high school is about 3.89 GPA, best student in school two times (last two classes), double Prime Minister scholarship. During studies I write one paper and present it on International Conference.

Of course I have also another skills in sport and some achievements in addition.

I know that I have to have huge SAT score to be in good situation, but answer please these two questions:

I will be 24 years old, applying to College. Is it a problem? Also in Harvard?

Is it possible to be accepted to BA program in Top College's after BA abroad? How this fact decreases my chances?

Will they asses me with my high school achievements, GPA, SAT etc, WITHOUT or WITH studies result? WITHOUT option would be better IMO.

Please help guys. I play hockey for 11 years, It would be honour to play in League and represent some Uni.

Please help.

You might try the International forum for more people from overseas there, who have more insight. You will have to apply as a transfer student, since you already have university credits. That is your only option. Your high school record may or may not be required. Check with each college you apply to.
