Help, anyone have these schools to choose from too? So hard... Any thoughts or advice on pros/cons.. Biomed is intended major....anyone hear that being a biomed major has poor job prospects as undergrad? If you have had to choose among these 3, what was the deciding factor....have visited all 3, that is why they are top 3...Thanks all!

I was accepted to all 3 as an engineering major. Having visited all 3 schools, that is a good way to decide since all 3 are very different schools (Pitt - urban school, Clemson - rural South, Purdue - mid-west in a somewhat urban setting). Do you have any clue what you prefer or have any concerns about any? Obviously I picked Clemson and that was because of the family atmosphere on campus (we have passionate students, professors and now I’m realizing alumni when it comes to the university - we are tops in the country for % of alumni who give back to the university) and the focus on undergraduate academics in comparison to other major research universities (smaller classes, undergraduate research opportunities, professors actually want to teach undergrad classes etc…). Coming to Boston I thought I would miss living in a city like Pittsburgh but I’ve enjoyed my time at Clemson, have made tons of friends and I wouldn’t trade my experience for anything. Besides, I’ve got the rest of my life to live in the city if I want to. Purdue was just too big for me in my opinion compared to Clemson and Pitt.
