University of Washington
University of Maryland
University of Vermont
University of Delaware
University of Virginia

University of DC
Rutgers (Though I think the flagship campus is not as bad as the Newark campus)
University of Massachusetts
University of Louisiana

As much as I like Austin, I don't think the UTexas (I can't say UT anymore since I live in Tennessee) is that great. It seems cramped and crowded to me. That said, Austin is your playground!

Indiana is great. Virginia is great. I thought Georgia looked nice, but I didn't see the whole thing because I was on crutches at the time.

I'm sorry to say it, but as a Maine resident I must disagree with the idea that U Maine Orono could possibly be on a "prettiest campus" list. It really is an uninspiring place, physically. (Many parts of the state itself would definitely qualify as gorgeous, but Orono is not one of them.)

I've never been there, but from what I've heard it's hard to imagine that U VA would not qualify as prettiest flagship campus.

I've seen a lot of campuses and I think University of Colorado Boulder is by far the prettiest. Most the ugly campuses I've seen are not flagship campuses, so no comment.

I like Boulder very much too. Great blending of old and new with amazing backdrop of the Flatirons.
I think UVa is a bit overrated. The old Jefferson campus portion is amazing and about 10% of the entire campus now. The rest is pretty much average state flagship.

The prettiest is by far CU-Boulder.... at least as far as flagships go. They have great architecture over most of the campus, and it's in one of the most beautiful locations on the planet. So...
Pretty?
CU-Boulder

For Ugliest that I've seen I'll put in another vote for SUNY Stony Brook (The SUNY system doesn't have a flagship, does it?) and UPenn if you want to count it.
I don't know for prettiest because the only other one I've seen that I haven't hated is Maryland. It's up there, but having nothing to compare it to I can't say for sure.
