The lists above are for overall top three sports at the school - correct?

Does anyone know what sports are tops for the girls? I did notice a few mentioned.

Which schools offer great female sports (soccer/field hockey/basketball/lacrosse/volleyball/tennis)?
Any top programs out there for the ladies that are worth mentioning?

At SPS, in general girl sports are stronger than boy sports. Girls rowing, field hockey, hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, and squash are particularly strong.

Loomis has a great girls’ hockey program, not sure about the boys’.

Kent girls’ hockey is amazing (as is the boys’)

If Choate has 1 (football), Andover 1.5 sports (rowing and swimming), how could some of the others have 4+ sports?
We are not talking about what being offered… we are talking about the hallmark event - in which the school prides itself with performance and tradition.

Looks like Thacher is about to get a new athletic director:
https://www.iberkshires.com/story/60536/Williams-Women-s-Soccer-Coach-to-Step-Down-after-Season.html

She looks cold in that photo. I bet she’ll enjoy the warmer weather.
 Ojai is a nice place to live.

@doschicos She should be used to the cold after coaching at Williams and Middlebury and attending Dartmouth

I think Loomis girls soccer is pretty strong.

The way I see, Choate did not turn average kids into football power players; Andover not average swimmers into record setters. >> They have those hallmark sports - because the schools empower the admissions to bring in great prospects and coaches to develop them into great athlete-scholar-person…

I hope to gather the list of true great sports (from the insiders) at the top tier schools, so that parents and future applicants can proceed with insights.

Some schools have a much bigger emphasis on sports, eg South Kent and Salisbury.

You can add Hotchkiss won the New Englands in Ultimate Frisbee-- which is coed. They have had Ultimate as a varsity sport for 20 years.
