Top 4 CSUs for Mechanical Engineering

I have decided to follow my real passion… Mechanical Engineering.
My GPA is 3.83 W 3.77 UW. SAT 1280/1600 and ACT w/writing 26.
What would you all say are the top 4 CSUs for mechanical engineering?

Answered in your other thread but by highest selectivity: Cal Poly SLO, SDSU, Cal Poly Pomona, Long Beach State and San Jose State.

You will need to bring your scores up to the 31+ range for the ACT and 1390+ range for the SAT for SLO. Their acceptance rate for ME was around 14% last year.

SLO differs than the rest of the campuses and uses 9th grades also in the GPA calculation and do not use EI but an MCA point system to determine admission acceptances.

After you calculate your UC/CSU GPA, then calculate your Eligibility index: (CSU GPA x800)+ (SAT Math + CR) or (CSU GPA x200) + (ACT comp x10)

For SDSU, you want around a 4100+ EI
For CSULB and CPP, you want around a 3900+ EI
For SJSU, want around a 3800+

You might also want to consider UC Riverside.
