I’m visiting AU in a couple of weeks for the second time, and have an interview with the regional rep. soon after.
Currently a senior, but am planning on taking a gap year for international volunteer work (teaching at a third world school for 8 months). Looking for international relations and economics in college.
Unweighted GPA of 3.4, weighted 3.8. Unfortunately, I’m only top 40% of my class.

Senior Year: Dual-enrollment Multivariate Calculus, Dual-enrollment Introduction to Java, AP Literature, IB Latin, Honors Government and Law, Spanish I
I took every AP class my school offered other than AP Statistics, and have glowing recommendations from my math teacher that I had 3 years and Latin teacher I had all 4 years.

I know my GPA is low, but I struggled with some family problems and health issues freshman and sophomore years, made honor roll both semesters junior year however, and my current grades and even higher- hopefully high honors this semester.
Do you think I could get in if I applied ED?
