hello everyone, I am a B.E graduate from VIT University-India . I am planning to do my PostGraduate course in Automobile engineering at UK or US (not yet decided) . Can anyone please list out the top colleges for Automobile Engineering in UK and US ?

What is the difference between Automotive Engineering and Automobile Engineering?

Imperial College London. We’re the best at that sort of thing in pretty much all of Europe; not just the UK. You’ll be done in 1 year, if you come here. Could also avail of some scholarships for Commonwealth students, possibly.

In the US, I’d say Purdue or one of the other top public engineering colleges. Cornell is the only real viable option in the Ivy League/Stanford/MIT category. Dunno about grad scholarships there.

Dasadhikarik, thanks a lot for your reply. However, when i visited the website of Imperial college i came to know that they are not offering automotive engineering. Can you help me out with few other good universities in UK?

Oh, I assumed that by automotive engineering, you meant that you wanted something close to Mechanical/Aeronautical engineering, and wanted to specialize in the automotive industry. I doubt that you’ll find a specific “automotive engineering” course at any of the top colleges (barring Purdue, perhaps, which has lots of specific engineering departments).
