Top MBA Programs - What Does it Take to Make It?

I'm well aware that top grades are always a key aspect of getting into a top graduate school. However, what else is really important? To be more specific, what types of extra curriculars, internships, etc. are essential to one's resume? What would an average graduate student at, lets say...Stanford (my dream school), have on their resume? Finally, can you get into a top MBA program from any college?

These are just some things I've been a little unclear on. I'm a sophomore in college at a branch campus of Penn State (Behrend) and currently only have a decent GPA (3.7) to add to my resume. I'm just wondering what types of extra curricular activities and internships I should get involved in to be able to have a shot at getting accepted to a top 20 program one day. Thanks for the help.

I didn't notice that there was a whole forum about Business school, which is where this probably should've been posted. Sorry about that.
