Top targets for BB Trading/Prop trading positions?

Hey everyone. I am really into trading. I am an upcoming undergrad, applying next year. I want to end up trading on the Street. It could be BB or some prop shop.

Obviously they hire from such as HYPSM, my question is, do I have the same chance of getting an interview if i attend Stern, for example?

What are other top targets apart from Ivies?

And are those really differ and put you into a worse spot? I mean, would Ivy be seen as a lot more prestigious/better for what you are going to do (trading) than such as Stern/Ross/Haas for example? Are those 2nd tier? Or would you consider Stern to be as prestigious for trading of finance world as are the Ivies?

Thanks a lot for the answers.

bump this thread

stern is pretty damn good. the difference between all the top tier are honestly negligible. nyu may even be better than HYP given the fact that they are directly in the city and thus closer to the banks.

I see, so could anyone tell me what are the exact targets for top prop shops/BB S&T?

And is Stern that good? If I get accepted to Stern and not to the Ivies, for example, I would feel kinda bad because of the fact it would look that Ivies are a lot more prestigious for finance (even though they are not as oriented).
