<p>i'm thinking about writing about my older brother because he was a good influence on me. im not going to get into much detail, but is that topic too boring? or will it just mainly depend on how well i can write it? also, can you trust the people here to proofread your essays? would it be wise? just wondering because im thinking about asking some people here to proofread my first draft.</p>
<p>I think nobody here can tell you whether this topic is the most appropriate for you. It’s just because nobody knows you well enough 
As for your other question - it depends on the person you ask. Sharing your essay on the Internet is not wise at all but still if you find a well-known CCer with a lot of posts (as an evidence that he/she will take it seriously), i guess it’s OK to ask for help</p>
