<p>If an option for an essay is, "topic of your choice," do you mention the topic you chose when writing your essay? If so, do you put the topic in the actual essay or put an explanatory sentence beforehand written like the more specific prompts from colleges?</p>
<p>I would just put the title of my essay, and go on writing. “Topic of your choice” basically means write whatever the heck you feel like writing.</p>
