Torrent warning?

I feel like an idiot asking this, but I'm hoping someone here has an idea.

Today in my school email I got a warning from abuse@berkeley.edu claiming my IP had gotten an episode of a show I don't watch from BitTorrent via AirBears. At the time it cited I would've been in my airbears-less dorm using Rescomp...

Is this a normal sort of email to be getting? If not, what does it mean and does anyone know how to fix it (or stop it from happening again)?

I don’t think that is common. If you’re curious email them, if not just let it be unless they start blocking you from AirBear. If you didn’t do it, they’ll probably be able to tell when you report it, so don’t fret!

I thought they can’t track airbears? only rescomp?

lol use dtella next time
