Totally confused !

The thing is I never got to a good start. In year 6, I had the worst teacher in universe. total Dick, this ofcourse demotivated me to study. Continue yr7,8,9,10,11. This was my final stop. realised that all of my friends ate books, studied hard but did stupid stuff all the time, realised that I should and only should improve. Started studying for 6 subjects, passed on C's and D's. Resitted exams got all B's, 1 c in maths. My aims are completely different from the daydreamer I was, just want to get to a merit/ prestigious school and be the best of the best, The 1%. Know I am going to yr12, however because I got a C in Maths Gcse, headteacher didnt allow me to take Maths, I am going to resit to an A. So the whole year I will be without Maths, and only In year 13, I will do As maths. Guys truly need your help. I thought of maybe doing the as maths exam in october when I will going to yr13 and then passing the a2 in june. Is that possible, need insight. advice.
thank you.

a guidance counselor at your HS is the best person to look over your overall performance, talk over your goals, and craft a realistic list of goals and deadlines. You’ll need to prep for SAT or ACTs as well as figure out how much $ your family can contrib to college.

Are you in the USA?

But is it possible for me to get into top Uni ? Carnegie/ UC ? ofcourse Illl work harder.

You didn’t really read post #2, did you?

The thing Is I received a scholar, so financial aid is not a problem. Just I need to sort out my SATs, SAT 2, Toefl. But the thing is I want to go into engineering, PETe or Mechanical, Dont mind Electrical. Its just that everybody says its hard. Computer engineering is also a maybe. However without maths, physics is not allowed at my school, so in year 13, I’ll be doing physics AS, Maths AS. However I’ll have a full Chem A level, maybe Bio. Does it help having Bio in engineering. I read that they say Hard subjects are favored among Top Uni’s.

Actually I am out of state right now but yeah I do live in USA.
