Hey, guys. I'm a bit concerned about something. So if you want to get into Harvard, you need to take the hardest courses available to you in high school, right? I'm not sure if I'm doing this. :S

Last year in grade nine I had:
Science 9
Math 10
Accounting 11
Civics 10
Family Studies 9/10 (it was mandatory at my old school)
English 9
French 9
Music 9 (elective was mandatory)
P.E. 9 (also mandatory)
History 10

This year at a new school I have:
Science 10 Advanced
Math 11 Advanced
Instrumental Music 10 (elective)
English 10 Advanced
Media Arts 10 (elective)
French 10 Advanced (elective)
Geography 9 (couldn't take it last year because I had a conflict, so I did History last year instead)
Next semester I have an Entrepreneurship elective class instead of Media Arts. It's grade eleven but it's for the kids who are college-bound, not university. So technically it's not hard.

I'm SO worried. Have I failed just because I can't take any harder classes? My school didn't let me take Accounting 12 or any other business classes because there was no space for someone who wasn't in the proper grade (Accounting 12 especially because everyone in grade 12 who was taking it would need a spot just THIS year and I can wait two years). This is a bigger problem because I'm new to this school this year and they saved spots for all the old kids. So, uhm... what do you guys think? :S Next year I'll be taking AP Math (I think it's Calc, but not sure what my school is doing) and hopefully Accounting 12. :S Yeah. What do you think about it so far? Am I screwed?
