Tower Court West Hall

I'm not going to link to the floor plan because we're really not supposed to, but that quad is in the same space and takes up the same footprint as TCW 335 and 336.

Hi,
As we are on the subject of 3rd floor rooms, does anyone know what room 338 is like? From the floor plan, it's shape is... interesting, but seems like it might be roomy :) Or is the scale misleading?

^ I think my friend lived in it last year. Definitely an oddly-shaped room. Nice size, but you're going to have to be creative with the layout. You might want to bunk. At least you have a courtyard view...

Posting on my D's name but wanted to get the "must bring" list from those that have lived in the tower - want to make sure the essentials are covered on move-in day. Thoughts on printers in the room? Is there space and would it be wired through a port in the room or will wireless also work? Do you advocate bringing a printer or is the common area access adequate in tower west 3rd floor? Thank you ! Any other tidbits appreciated,

Printer access anywhere on campus is pretty nice. Nice enough to not need a printer. It's good to have one, but it can also be kind of a burden considering that printing in the library is free and both paper and ink are abundant. I wouldn't suggest a printer unless you're going to do a lot of scanning, print a lot in color (color printing costs money in the library unless you can justify it as academic), or you're going to print after midnight when the libraries close. Dorms usually have a couple printers somewhere, so even then it's possible to print your heart out in the middle of the night.
