I'm new here so forgive me if I've posted in the wrong place. My son is trying to decide where to study sports management. Wants to go to UNH because program is much stronger there, housed in College of Business. Great internship and job connections. Concerned about area (safety) and housing (guaranteed 2 yrs only)--off campus housing looks sketchy. Towson program housed in Kinesiology, so not as business-focused, but he got accepted into honors college. Adelphi is local for us and he would dorm there, but not sure if that will give him enough of the "college experience." Does anyone know firsthand about these schools (recent information) with regard to academics, safety or party atmosphere? This is our first (and only) child, so it's been a long road. Many thanks.

Well I do know UNH is mostly know for its criminal justice program.
I know that the school offers charger day. Let him go and sit in classes, etc and see if he likes it there! Good luck (:

Towson doesn’t guarantee housing for very long either, however there are apartment rentals available right next to campus. If housing is important, you may want to pick up the phone and find out about that.

Towson- Pros- happy kids. Easy and numerous inexpensive flights via Southwest to Baltimore daily.

Adelphi- Close to home, has advantages in that. Friends sons (2 ) are there and are very happy overall.
