Younger son wants to hear from USC and UT Dallas before making final decision. Of the 4 acceptances, I think Towson is top choice (but we did not see Binghamton and really did not give Binghamton a fair chance).

But does your son really want to give Binghamton a fair chance? Ask him. He may not want to spend more energy on it.

Here’s a link to the Binghamton Career Development Center and their spring job/internship fair booklet.

I think I remember you mentioning your S has an Asperger’s diagnosis. I believe both schools can serve him academically and I might suggest you both focus on the support system/dorm situation that will best meet his needs. Good luck.

Thanks so much for posting these job/internship fair booklets.

Towson has a specialist on staff who works with Asperger’s students and was really impressed.

I greatly appreciate all the feedback and think we are going to pass on Binghamton. I still think it sounds like a great school, but the difficulty of transferring into the School of Management is a major concern. If my son ultimately decides on Accounting, he is better off at a school like Towson where you can more easily get into the Accounting major.
