Toyota community scholarship

:( didn't get it, however, congrats to the rest !

Matt from Melville, NY (long island)
Will be attending Brown University next fall.

I didn't get mine either...=(

Congrats guys! I'll be going there too :D (the UPS mail was snuck under the mat so I didn't find out for quite some time).

For the section where we fill in scholarships that we received, will that affect whether we get selected as regional/national scholars and what exactly constitutes a scholarship? Thanks and I can't wait to see you in Kentucky!

I feel like they've already decided somehow...

Congrats everyone! I just got the UPS Mail in Hawaii.

I'm Chris from Reno, NV. I'm not sure where I'll be next year. Either Yale or Stanford.

My daughter is heavily involved in her school musical right now and is only home about 1 hour a day... so I am answering all the questions. She will be attending Furman University next Fall, majoring in math - she thinks.
Congrats to everyone! Hey Hawaii - are you coming to KY?

Hey eppsas, congrats to you and your daughter! Yes, I will come to KY all the way from Hawaii. I am going to the Wharton School, U. of Pennsylvania this coming fall.

If you haven't go it by now, does that mean you aren't gonna get it at all? Maaaan, if Toyota was express mailing the acceptees, I should have gotten it by now. Oh well, its JUST $10,000, and ONLY a potential $20,000.

Oh no! So did anyone who DIDNT get the scholarship receive anything in the mail?!

Anyone else who received the scholarship --

Did you get the yellow scholarship reply form in the mail along with the other materials? I didn't.. i tried calling them but they took me through a huge menu and it was really really annoying...

I am kinda bummed I didn't get it, but congrats to all those that did!

Les

How do you all find out about these scholarships??

For this one, you had to be nominated by your school.

My D is a regional winner and got a cool shirt and all her info in the mail today for going to KY next week. Toyota definitely is well-organized. All the travel instructions, everything about how to dress, etc. I am impressed! There are 100 regional winners - does anyone know how many of them are going to KY?

I got the scholarship too, but unfortunately, I can't make it to the event in KY. Did all the people who let Toyota know that they are going get something in the mail already about the actual receival of the scholarship money??... cause I haven't gotten anything

So far all we have gotten after the package telling us that my d was a regional winner is the packet we received with her travel info, etc. There was a yellow (I think) sheet in the original packet that you had to fill out and send back in with what school you were attending, listing other scholarships, etc.

Hey everyone,

I was a winner last year. I'm originally from CT and am now attending Georgetown. I was searching to see if they had announced this year's winners yet and came across this discussion. Just thought I'd say congrats to you all, the trip last year was amazing (Toyota reeeeally spoils you) and you'll have a fantastic time. Plus... there's the money... which is nice, too ;-) And if any of you should go to Georgetown, look me up - name's Corey Prachniak. Congrats again :-)
