<p>^^ did your school receive the nomination packet? and did they nominate you?</p>
<p>at my school i just went and asked the counselor for a packet filled it out in one day and then she did her part and i was through. it wasn't that hard. my school didn't nominate they put up the posters and wait for students to ask about it.</p>
<p>yea my school doens't nominate people. they don't put up posters either, they just wait until you ask. </p>
<p>I will talk to my counselor first thing when I get back then and see. at least she likes me lol so maybe she will do it for me the day of :P</p>
<p>How many pages was the nomination form? 2 or 4? They have a really tiny version on the website. </p>
<p>And for the honors/awards section, are we maxed out at 12? Or can we attach something else?</p>

<p>there was two sheets front and back attached to each other. the first three i filled out and the fourth was for the counselor to say she verified the information to put your rank, gpa, and grading policy.</p>
<p>and the honors and awards were maxed out in the limited space you had on the sheets. you couldn't attach anything to it, i don't think. because i had just enough room for my 15 honor and ap classes in the area they asked for it.</p>

<p>Hey guys, I'm not sure if anyone else did the same... but I filled out my nom form a little differently....</p>
<p>My counselor called the company to ask how we are supposed to report classes and awards should we exceed the space provided on the form. The contact said that many applicants glue or tape typed information over the provided box for listing such items, or jam two classes in the spaces for one class. </p>
<p>In my case, I added two additional classes within the provided space and then typed out my awards list and taped it over the specified section. </p>
<p>Now one of two things will occur with my app...</p>
<p>1) I will have a higher index score than possible had I not taped typed info onto the app.</p>
<p>or</p>
<p>2) I will be disqualified. :x</p>
<p>lol. Hopefully I'm not DQ'd! I was a bit nervous about this, but at the same time, I figured the competition is so steep that I might as well try! </p>

<p>Yes, because I didn't do all my activities in the same weeks. Some were a year ago and others were my present community activities. Oh well...</p>

I did not add any extra sheets or double up on spaces because the instructions clearly said do not add extra pages.
I am not sure how you added extra pages, d_rolla08. Are you sure it can be done?
Also, how did you double up on spaces? There was barely any room to fit one thing. </p>
<p>If all these people add extra stuff, won't it mess up there system of "statistical analysis". Most people did not know that could have been done. </p>

<p>me2008, I only doubled up spaces, and if you used the nom form your college counselor received, then it's actually 4 pages and much larger than the form online.</p>

<p>I didn't quite 'add' extra pages... I tapes a cut-sheet on top of the nom form! Like I said, I have no idea how they will evaluate my form, but cutting and pasting is what the Toyota rep told me to do...</p>
