Track

If I want to continue doing hurdles in college, but not on the school team, is it possible? Are there any track clubs or anything? I really hope so...

I'm good enough to be a State's athlete...but not good enough for the team I'm sure. Any options?

what are your events?

If you're good enough to be a states athlete, and you want to do track, you probably should contact the track coach. He would tell you if you'd be able to be on the team...or direct you to another organization.

Well the thing is I want to really excel at Cornell and I am afraid making that large of a commitment might hurt my grades and make me tired everyday (running a ton, studying a ton, and trying to find freetime to hang out with people and have the college experience seems overwhelming to think about!). Thats why I was just looking for a club of some sort, or maybe some other league. heh

Oh, I do 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles (by far my best is 110). I truly love hurdles and if I stop doing them I will miss them badly!!!

Oh and does anyone know what the stats/times for the track team are? (especially for hurdles)

110 hurdle time for men's track is in 14-14.5 range

Ya I wouldn't qualify in that time range
