<p>Umm... I keep hearing about a tracking site to keep up with the status of your application... and I was wondering, is that only for students who applied online? I used the paper app and I never got any information about a tracking site. (I did get the postcard confirmation that my entire application was received, though)</p>

<p>i also used the paper app, and i didnt even get a confirmation. so i called, and the lady told me that on feb 5, everyone will recieve a login thing for the tracking site. so yes,i assume by feb 5th, you will get something in the email. or atleast i hope so.</p>

<p>I just called Rice and explained to them that I never received a tracking number, and the lady in admins said they sent them out to EVERYONE back in December... although it doesn't mean that everyone actually got one.</p>
<p>So if you didn't get one but you want one, send and email to <a href="mailto:riceapps@rice.edu">riceapps@rice.edu</a> with your name, date of birth, and decision plan along with a request for your Web Check Tracking Info.</p>
<p>This was about an hour ago... I still haven't heard back, and of course crazy me is already jumping to worse-case-scenario "oh my gosh what if they misplaced/lost/never-received my applcation???" I really doubt that's what happened... but I am really anxious to get this tracking info so that I can be double sure!</p>

<p>That's strange; I'm an International RD applicant and I received my tracking number a few days ago.</p>
<p>then its probably on the way...</p>
